01/09/2017 Davidoff Art Initiative’s 2017 Spring Residencies

The Davidoff Art Initiative (DAI) has announced the selection of three artists for its Spring 2017 Davidoff Residency Program. Patricia Castillo (b. 1972, Dominican Republic) will conduct her residency at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, Germany; Jorge González (b. 1981, Puerto Rico) will conduct his residency at FLORA ars+natura in Bogota, Columbia; and Jesús “Bubu” Negrón (b. 1975, Puerto Rico) will conduct his residency at Red Gate Gallery in Beijing, China.

DAI Manager, Albertine Kopp stated: “We are proud to continue our mission of increasing the visibility of Caribbean artists, as well as opening further opportunities for creative collaboration, conversation and exchange, in partnership with some of the world’s foremost cultural institutions.”
