Based in the Dominican Republic, Mónica Ferreras de la Maza (b. 1965, Dominican Republic) has worked for 20 years as a visual artist across a range of media including painting, drawing, installation and video art. She is the first artist participation in the Davidoff Art Residency.

We are pleased to announce, that Mónica Ferreras De la Maza has taken up her residency at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York City.
Ferreras De la Maza will continue her residency at ISCP till November 30, 2013 and she will participate in the ISCP open studio visit in November.

Last month, the Davidoff Art Initiative held a cocktail reception at the Artisanal House in New York in honor of the members of the International Art Advisory Council and for Mónica Ferreras De la Maza.

Future residencies include Jorge Pineda this spring in Berlin, and a special announcement at Art Basel Miami Beach this December will be made about which artist will be working at the Red Gate Gallery in Beijing next May.
